The international award "Halal Business Woman" and "Halal Charity Woman" named after Zubeidah bint Jafar is a recognition of the merits and successes of women in the implementation of social, charitable and business projects

Zubeida bint Jafar (born in the 760s) was an Arab princess from the Abbasid dynasty, the wife of Caliph Harun ar-Rashid, the queen mother during the reign of her son Caliph al-Amin (809 – 813).

Zubeidah bint Jafar received special honor and respect from the construction of an aqueduct and a road along it running from the Ain al-Mushash spring in the Hunein Valley to Mecca to supply pilgrims with water (later called Darb Zubeidah - Zubeidah Road).

The Abbasid princess Zubeida bint Jafar is known in the Muslim world for her comprehensive education, as she showed interest in literature and other sciences, wrote poetry and poems. Her efforts were of particular importance for the socio-economic development of her peoples.

The mission of the Award is to help women achieve success by promoting their business projects and personal brands, which are key to ensuring progress in strengthening trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties between Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, as well as charitable projects that have led to a significant improvement in people's lives.

The Halal Business Woman Award is an award that recognizes and celebrates the achievements and contributions of women to the development of halal business and the halal products industry. The award is given to women who show outstanding abilities, entrepreneurial spirit, innovative approaches to business and the desire to create high-quality halal products and services.

The Halal Charity Woman Award is an award that recognizes women who have made significant contributions to the field of charity and helping those in need within the framework of halal principles. This award is designed to highlight the role of women philanthropists, activists and leaders in the field of charity and social responsibility. The Halal Charity Woman Award is given to women who show outstanding qualities of humanism, compassion, empathy and are ready to provide help and support to those who need it.

Halal Charity Woman

Deadlines and stages of the competition

First stage– application.

Held from May 8th to May 11th. Participants submit an application electronically using the form posted on the website

on the information and telecommunications network “Internet” (hereinafter referred to as the website).

The application contains a questionnaire. The application is accompanied by photo/video material reflecting the activities of the Award Participant, in accordance with the award criteria set out in Section VI of these Regulations.

Additional information and materials may be attached to the application at the request of the award participant (including reports on activities, certificates, diplomas, letters of recommendation, documents confirming success in the activities carried out, including certificates from the participants themselves, texts of articles, messages published in media mass media, copies of thank-you documents, links on the Internet information and telecommunications network).

Second phase- checking.

Held from May 12th to May 13rd. The commission checks documents and materials of participants for compliance with the terms of the awards.

Third stage– evaluative.

Held on May 14th. Members of the commission study and evaluate the participants' materials, and the winners are determined.

Fourth stage– final.

The award ceremony for the winners is held in the city of Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, as part of the annual International Economic Forum “Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum” on May 15th.
