The International Tournament of Young Chefs of Islamic Countries named after Yunus Akhmetzyanov 2024 will be held on the territory of the Kazan Expo IEC (cluster C). The tournament is an opportunity for young talents to show themselves and gain tremendous experience in international cooperation with famous and authoritative chefs.

The tournament differs from contests and competitions - each finalist is assigned a mentor from famous chefs to work out the dish in detail, who suggests how to make the dish as winning as possible for the final. To participate, you must submit an application with a ready-made set of three dishes (appetizer, main course, dessert), which uses at least one local product that personifies the culture of the country being represented. At the final, you need to prepare a dish and present it to members of the international jury.

On the same day, each finalist, together with a team of chefs from Kazan restaurants, will prepare their dishes so that the forum guests can taste them. There are no losers in the tournament, everyone receives a nomination, and the finalist who received the maximum number of characteristics from the jury receives the Grand Prix.

The most important examples and experiences in the nomination and management of UNESCO World Heritage Sites will be reviewed. By proposing any property for inclusion in the World Heritage List, a State Party to the Convention assumes responsibility for its preservation and expresses its readiness to comply with all applicable standards of international protection. Therefore, inclusion in the World Heritage List is not only an important and solemn moment, but also the beginning of a long and very responsible path associated with taking all possible measures to preserve the objects included in the World Heritage List and being part of the common heritage of mankind. Management is an integral part of enabling the conservation of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Section 2. In accordance with the decision of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, a section is held to examine the implementation of the UNESCO thematic initiative “Astronomy and World Heritage”, the role of which is very important in expanding the potential of scientific research and nomination to the UNESCO list. The section will consider issues of the architecture of astronomical observatories of Kazan University, a comparative analysis with other optical observatories in the world. This will facilitate the nomination of astronomical heritage to the UNESCO list.

On September 1, 2023, an experiment to introduce Islamic banking started in the Russian Federation. Work on this experiment is planned for two years, until 2025. Four subjects took part in it: the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Dagestan and the Chechen Republic. Within the framework of the Forum, the First meeting of the Expert Council on conducting this experiment will be held in order to create the necessary conditions for the implementation of partner financing activities, summing up the intermediate results of the experiment and adjusting its implementation.

Speakers will talk about BIM and its role in the digitalization of the design process in development, artificial intelligence in hotel design, as well as digital solutions for modern development.

PLENARY SESSION OF THE XV INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC FORUM “FINANCIAL AND LOGISTICAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF RUSSIA AND OIC COUNTRIES”

At the plenary meeting it is planned to sum up the results of the Forum, official addresses from the states of Russia and the OIC, the OIC secretariat, in accordance with the international protocol, an assessment of the joint achievements of Russia and the OIC countries in trade, economic, scientific and technical, educational, industrial, manufacturing, tourism, cultural, sports spheres, areas of healthcare and information technology, Islamic finance and other important areas of economic activity on the basis of mutual respect, trust, and common values. Plans and prospects for the development of mutually beneficial relations between Russia and the OIC countries for the benefit of the world population will also be determined as part of the harmonization of international processes and achieving a balance of sustainable global growth.
